There are only ever going to be 24 hours in a day, but why let that affect your earning potential?

When you are charging your clients by the hour there will always be a limit on how much you can earn.  This situation is worsened by the fact that for every hour you are charging for, there is a least another hidden hour of preparation, organisation, travelling and cancellations.  With unsociable hours already a given, this can have a significant impact on your work-life balance.

Once you have found your niche you can become and expert in that field and create the blueprint solution to guarantee client results. This package could be created just once and sold unlimited times or may be slightly adjusted for a more bespoke client experience.  Either way, you are working at a time and place that suits you and your other commitments and in a position to take on many more clients without impinging on your free time.

 

Change the way your business works.

Packages are not just for future and potential clients.  When you are significantly improving the service and communication that you are offering current clients, it is reasonable to expect them to commit to you and pay for their package upfront.  Now your clients are receiving workouts, nutritional education, articles and motivational messages most days they will see exactly how hard you are working for them and will see their progress for themselves.  Paying up front will also encourage your clients to work harder between sessions and motivate them to stick to their appointments. 

 

More consistent pay for you.

Getting paid for the the sessions you run can be very inconsistent.  If just a few clients cancel in one week it can have a massive impact on your financial situation.  Selling packages will dramatically improve this uncertainty as you will know exactly how many clients have paid and are booked in up to a couple of months in advance.  Knowing when you need to recruit more clients and when you can relax to ensure your current clients are getting the best service possible to boost retention and referrals, will give you more control of your business planning.
